Common questions

What happens if I hit my monthly limit?
Your API returns 429 Too Many Requests until the quota resets on the 1st of each month. You can upgrade at any time for a higher cap — the new limit kicks in immediately.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If you’re unhappy within the first 14 days of a paid plan, we refund pro-rata for the unused portion of the month. No forms, just email us.
Do you store my documents?
No. Images are processed in-memory and discarded once the OCR response is returned. We keep usage metadata (token, endpoint, timestamp) for the retention window in your plan, nothing more.
Can I upgrade or downgrade any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the charge. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period so you get the full value of what you paid for.
